By confirming your order, you (The Buyer) agree to the following conditions of this commission by Emmie Twee (The Artist).

Agreement between Artist & Buyer.

1. Artwork.

The Buyer has commissioned The Artist for the following work of art:

Medium. Digital PNG artwork printed once on high quality paper, up to A4 size

Dimensions.  4800 x 4800px (12 x 12” @400dpi)

Price. £30-£105 artwork set up fee (as selected at purchase). You acknowledge that this DOES NOT include image usage rights and any subsequent prints must be made through The Artist directly.

Description:. Custom cartoon, based on description laid out by The Buyer in response to "What's the big idea"? in form at checkout.

The Artist will create a work of art based on the above information.

2. Payment Schedule.

The commission is due prior to beginning work on the piece described above.

Consultation period. Once payment is made, The Buyer and The Artist then enter into a consultation period. During this time, one draft will be made by The Artist, which The Buyer may give feedback on and ask for any reasonable adjustments.

Agreement on this design concludes the consultation period.

Artist refusal. The Artist reserves the right to refuse this work on any reasonable grounds and can action at any time during the commission. Any refusal made before the end of the consultation period will result in The Buyer being refunded in full.

If an agreement on the design has been made, the consultation period has ended. Should The Buyer then be unsatisfied with the artwork (beyond any reasonable adjustments), The Buyer will not receive a refund.

3. Delivery.

The Artist agrees to complete and deliver the commissioned artwork on or before the date stated in response to “When do you need it?” on the checkout form.

Format. The artwork will be delivered to the customer as one high quality inkjet print of a digital artwork on either:

  • A high quality paper for the purpose of framing up to A4 size (UK)

  • a 6 x 6” folded greetings card, printed on one side and left blank inside.

Any other print formats outside of these two options will need additional costs quoted. It must be clearly communicated by The Buyer to The Artist at the start of the process if they intend on printing in another format to determine if there is enough time to produce.

Additional print and shipping costs. Once both The Artist and The Buyer are satisfied with the end artwork and have agreed an additional print method, the costs will be agreed in a separate transaction. The Artist will adhere to all shipment information outlined by the chosen Production method (Printful or similar) but cannot be held responsible for any unprecedented delays to shipments.

4. Copyright.

The Artist retains the copyright to all works commissioned by the Buyer, including all reproduction rights and the right to claim statutory copyright. No artwork may be reproduced, altered or used in any other context (commercial or personal) without the written consent of the Artist.

5. Returns.

There are no returns once the Buyer and the Artist conclude the consultation period.

This agreement has been entered into on the date stated in the order confirmation. By checking the box and confirming your order at checkout, you have agreed to the above terms.
